Review of: She Told Me

This is going to be a short review, mainly because I am still learning the ins and outs of this new (to me) site. She Told Me lets you link to interesting content on the web, even if it is your own. (In the interest of fairness, that link is my referral link, and you can read more about that if you decide to sign up with the site - or feel free to check back for more details as I update.)

The content you post is published on a page with your Adsense code so you can earn money from it.

Then, it gets into social media, in the sense that you read other's posts and can either vote them up or down, depending on whether you think they are accurate representations of the work - or not.

I have to admit to a certain newness when it comes to the social media aspect of online writing (beyond = Twittering); but I find the prospect kind of exciting and am anxious to get moving with it.

I'll pop back in with more details about my experience with the site over the next few days; and will give you a more accurate review when I have more details.

  1. Is this site still operating? I clicked on your link but it didn't work. Sounded pretty interesting and I wanted to check it out, but maybe they didn't achieve the success they needed to keep going...? Thanks for all your posts, enjoying reading them :)

  2. Hi, I just checked it and the site seems to still be working, though something is off with my link. Maybe just do an Internet search for the site until I figure out what I did wrong with the link?

They changed a bit from when I wrote this, or else I overlooked the fine print before. Now, with the free membership you can only post comments on other people's posts.

For full access, it's $5 per month or $12 per year. I never ended up earning from the couple of posts I got up before they changed the plan, so I didn't invest in the paid membership.

If you don't mind paying and you have the time to invest in it, I'm sure it's a good deal for the $12 yearly payment, but it didn't work out for me.
