Review of Clickworker

I came a cross a new online writing, editing site and tried it out. It reminds me of Cloud Crowd, which I truly do not care for, except there were no affiliate links to mess around with on Clickworker - so that is kind of nice - less scammy.

I haven't drawn any conclusions about the site yet, but I wanted to go ahead and share because I know Google changes have lowered the pay for many web writers.

For what it's worth, the BBB gave Clickworker a good rating. It is a German company, and you can get paid through PayPal just like most other writing sites.

It pays once a month - and the company website claims you can expect to make 9 or 10 dollars an hour.

You have to take assessments before being allowed to work on any paid tasks, and I took one. It was pretty straightforward, but the directions were a tad confusing, possibly due to translation errors - or maybe just my over-tired brain saying, "nope - not gonna do it."

So, if you're interested, do a search for Clickworker, check them out, and pop back in to let me know what you think - if you want to.

  1. Hi All, Just checking back in to update on ClickWorker. I just got an email about work available, made 2 cents there, and they don't have any more work currently available for me.

I'm thinking this one is not going to pay many bills for me, but maybe for the "right" person????.
