Did you know you can prepare posts ahead of time and schedule them to go live at a specified time? I did not know that before today.
You just write the blog post like you normally would, then look at the lower left corner of the frame where you typed the entry. The link says Post Options.
Click the link, then over on the right side under Post date and time you can leave it on Automatic if you want to post to go live immediately, or you can check Scheduled at and enter the date and time you want your post to go live.
You can also either allow or disallow comments, edit html line breaks, or set Compose settings to interpret or literally show the html.
When everything is set the way you want, just click publish post like you normally would, and it stays in drafts until the scheduled time.
One way I can imagine using this feature is, if I have extra time to write one day I can prepare some posts ahead of time, so fresh content will be available on the blog on the days I'm busier. Of course, it wouldn't work for news that needs to be posted ina timely manner, but for evergreen content it could be really nice.
