Review of Textbroker

Textbroker pays a per word wage, based on their review of a writer's skill. I hired in at a level 3, so when I write for them I get 1.5 cents per word. ( I don't use the casual style I am using here when I apply for writing jobs. I adopt a more formal - less chatty & less personal - style.) Levels 1 and 2 get less, levels 4 and 5 get more per word.

The site claims your work is reviewed after 5 articles, and if you get good ratings you move up to the next level. They have a pretty good reputation for doing what they say, so I am doing a short article here and there for them. I am at 3 right now. The buyer's ratings have all come back as excellent across the board. I have not yet received my Textbroker ratings.

I actually signed up with Textbroker about a year ago, and put off by the 1.5 cents per word, I never did anything for them. I actually only recently became active so I could add a fair review to this blog. I am curious to see how it all works out.

I'll keep you up to date on my experience with Textbroker. Feel free to share your experiences if you want to.

I wrote this a couple of days ago, but I didn't realize it had not posted. (Talk about not paying attention to details!) Sorry about that - if anyone checked here for looking for details.
