With a cutesy name and a big and transparent rev-share cut for writers, Snipsly is probably a site you will be hearing a lot about in the future.
They make it easy to post. Article length is fairly short; after you get the first article approved. Links you post in your articles there are dofollow, so you can link back to your blog or to your other online work.
The site is set up so it's easy to find the rules and information, though the rules recently changed and I'm not certain everything has been updated yet.
Page views and earnings are recorded through your Google Analytics account, so if you want to sign up at Snipsly and earn anything, you will need one of those. If you just want to sign up to build some backlinks or write about a topic you are passionate about, you could get by without one, but really, why miss out on a chance to earn money, if you are trying to earn a living as a writer? (Sorry about that run-on.)

Redgage Review
I'm not much of a social networker. I wish I were, my life as a writer would be easier and more profitable if I had that social gift. Redgage is making it easier for me to get into the networking trend.
I've have been reading about Redgage for a long time, a couple of years actually. I signed up months ago and still didn't really do anything there. It took a long time for me to decide to give it a try.
The first thing I discovered when I finally posted, even though the site kind be kind of glitchy, it's fun. I started posting links to my blog posts and articles, and quickly moved into adding photos.
Rating other's work is also kind of fun, though optional. I have never given anyone less than a five star rating, but then, only if they deserve it. If they don't deserve five stars, I just go on to the next photo, link, or blog post. (I operate on the "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything" theory when it comes to Redgage ratings.)
I only have a couple hundred "friends" there compared to my 500+ Twitter friends, but they are great and actually pop in to leave comments and ratings on my posts while I rarely hear any real communication from my Twitter friends. (I do the same for them - aside from it being fun, it's just the polite thing to do.)
It's even kind of fun watching the pennies add up in my Redgage account. Does it pay anything like "real work"? No, but someday I'll reach payout and buy myself something special - for $25 or less.
Another thing I notice, when I run my sites through the backlink checker tool, I have a lot more backlinks than I had before I started posting links to my blog posts on Redgage.
Finally, I have also noticed increased traffic to my sites and my articles coming from Redgage. I have to say I recommend Redgage as a blog promotion tool, and a social networking opportunity, though, if you are looking at it for the money, it's probably going to take a long while to earn any.

Making Money As a Post-Panda Online Writer
This post goes out to those writers who, like me, found it pretty easy to scrape together a decent living as a writer before Panda slapped down the sites that paid reliably.
I can't say I have all the answers about how to recover, but I have made a couple of observations.
My first observation is, the paying work is still out there, but it takes longer and more effort to earn decent wages. Gone, at least for me, are the 15 minute = $15 articles. (Those were rare for me anyway because I am admittedly a slow and usually contemplative writer, except for when I'm blogging.) Now I end up spending a whole hour, or longer, on the same articles I casually breezed through in the pre-panda days.
My next observation is, the SEO information I spent hours upon hours upon hours learning, means very little right now, at least to the content sites that used to beg for lots of SEO - oops - I should have written keyword stuffing not lots of SEO.
I resisted taking on private clients for a long time, mainly because the work for content mills was there - well, everywhere - and it was so easy.
I suspect, for right now, private clients and business writing is the way to go for writers who want to jump back up to pre-panda earnings. Feel free to check out the job board here on this site, there are also some great Yahoo groups for freelance writers, with job leads shared regularly via some of the groups.

Using Press Releases Vs. Using Articles To Generate Backlinks
Author: Magnus
Many online businesses pay monthly or even annually to have service firms create a bunch of SEO articles and submit them to article directories on monthly basis or according to a scheduled arrangement. These articles are very effective in getting backlinks and establishing good online presence. Many do it just for backlinks and pagerank improvement. Whatever the reason behind it might be, it has proved effective and many SEO experts advocate on its importance.
However, while article marketing is a great promotional tool, many article marketing sites do not accept specific business discussions in articles and this is a limitation to what they can do for your business. This limitation is overcome with the use of press releases. If you are able to get a couple of press releases written and distributed within a month, you will have more opportunities to express your companies product and service details which many article sites do not accept. Despite this, using press releases will also help you create backlinks along with your industry's news and stories.
If you are in the technology industry, turning out a couple of technology press releases every month will go along way in helping your online business exposure and achievements. You can still use this article service firms to help you get press releases. PRs are just as same length as articles and they pretty much cost the same amount. Armed with optimization techniques, there is no doubt that these writing service firms can effectively optimize a press release to be features in press release websites. Once your PR is optimized and made ready for publication, getting the press release sites to publish them will then be the only thing you may have to worry about.
Press releases, unlike articles, can accommodate as high as four hyper links which you will use to send readers to separate WebPages of your choice. But you are not expected to abuse this opportunity. Your links must be well inserted and your content must be such that it encourages readers to click on the links.
However, developing a press release is not the same as developing articles for article marketing. These are two different things that you must clearly understand. The tone, language and purpose of technology press releases are very different from an ordinary article written to convey a message. While an article may result to just another informative web page, a press release presents facts while at the same time promoting the an online business, its services or products and providing just enough information to win the interest of the visitors. It also holds some article marketing tactics, holding back few things to get the reader to click-through to find out more.
Any press release must be presenting a point. While you can write an article from the general terms of a subject, a press release must be presenting something which is directly or directly geared towards the promotion of the business. It must be newsworthy yet avoiding certain words or statements that will make it a pure advert. Submit your technology press releases now.

Article Writing-How To Write Quality And Compelling Article Title For Higher Level Of Traffic
Author: Ngozi Nwoke
Article writing is one of the internet marketing strategies that will build up your network marketing business. It will expose you and attract massive traffic to your website. But for you to realise this traffic, your article title should be able to grab the interest of the readers, compel them to read through the article body to the resource box where you have given your website address. This article answers the question on how to write such quality title.
How to write quality article titles
1. Narrow the focus
Your title should be specific, to the point and completely deliverable. It should not promise what the article body content cannot deliver. For you to generate the mlm (multi -level marketing) leads and traffic you desire, readers need to be satisfied with the article content after reading your article title
2. No advertisement
Your title should never be a sales pitch for your website, product, company or even you. Article writing should answer readers' questions and provide solutions to their problems. Your ability to deliver the information on your topic will sell you to the reader. Save the advertisement for the resource box.
3. Title length
A good article title length is greater than 70 characters but less than 100 characters. A title just a little longer often draws more traffic than short titles. This is because short titles may not give enough reason for the person to read the article.
4. Use of keywords
Article titles need to be search engine friendly and keyword wired or nobody will ever see them, no matter how compelling it may be. Use a keyword tool such as GoodKeywords, Google Suggest, or Wordtracker to help identify keywords for your article titles.
5. Start with article subject
The first 3 words of your article title should introduce the topic of the article. This is good for SEO (search engine optimization). Avoid starting with 'junk words' or conjunctions, such as "a" or "the since they are not search engine friendly.
Make your title to be compelling and let it build interest or motivation. Let it entice your readers to ask questions which the article body content should answer. "How to" article writing will always generate mlm leads and traffic which is one of the benefits of article writing for online home-based business. This is because people are looking for answers to common problems facing them.
So, write a quality and compelling article today!

SEO, Social Networking, and Backlinking
I'm just finding it to be a much larger category than I initially realized, and my past approach of writing something and just letting search engines find it is not working too well anyore - if it ever actually worked well.
I also have not been bale to find a definitive answer on how many quality backlinks are required to increase a site's page rank. And - I know - some people say page rank is not that important. It does, however, offer a parameter (other than page views) I can use to determine if my site is moving in the right direction.
